Celebrating Julian's mining past, this year's show will feature a quilt portraying a gold miner in a field of flowers. A Grandmother's Garden quilt, made by the club's quilt group under the guidance of Eleanor Burns will be offered in an opportunity drawing. There will also be a country store with quilt items & handmade items for sale. [1:00pm] Beading Class Description: Discover Beading, The Basics Tired of paying too much for beautiful jewelry that is someone else’s design? Learn the basics of professional beading and create your own fabulous designs. This class will make you an educated consumer of beads, and a knowledgeable artist and craftsman. You will learn how to choose stringing material, some options for color and design, many tried-and-true tricks of the trade, and how to complete your project so that it looks professional and enviable. This is fun way to spend your day and to learn how to grow your creativity. Fee: $20. Discount on all materials and supplies purchased on the day of class. Advance registration is required.
