Celebrating Julian's mining past, this year's show will feature a quilt portraying a gold miner in a field of flowers. A Grandmother's Garden quilt, made by the club's quilt group under the guidance of Eleanor Burns will be offered in an opportunity drawing. There will also be a country store with quilt items & handmade items for sale. [10:30am] Beading Class Description: Freeform Peyote Bracelet Imagine making a bracelet where you can't make a mistake! You will learn how to make the foundation of this bracelet using peyote stitch, with a variety of sizes and shapes of beads. Then you will learn how to build on top of this in any way that your creative juices take you. The bracelet can take on any shape depending on the beads you choose to use. The bracelet becomes a canvas of your design style. And there will never be another one even remotely similar to yours. Previous experience with peyote stitch is not necessary. Fee: $30, includes lunch. Discount on all materials and supplies purchased on the day of class. Advance registration is required.
