7:00am 8:00am 9:00am [9:00am] Beading Class Description: Precious Metal Clay for Beginners If you have ever wanted to make your own jewelry components out of silver, then this class is for you. Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a clay-like substance that combines very tiny particles of pure silver, with water and an organic binder. It can be molded, stamped, carved, etched, and a variety of materials can be added to it (glass, stones, etc.) After it is fired in a kiln, the result is a piece of 0.999 fine silver. In this class you will complete several pieces of fine silver jewelry using PMC. Fee: $85/person includes 18 grams of silver clay and the use of all tools and the kiln. Lunch is also included. Discount on all materials and supplies purchased on the day of class. Advance registration is required.
